These Terms and Conditions govern use of greatmoversuae.com and bookings for transport, pickup truck rental, truck rental, trailer transport, loading support and related services provided by Great Movers General Transport L.L.C – S.P.C (“Great Movers”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By using the website, requesting a quote, or confirming a booking, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

1. About Great Movers  General Transport L.L.C – S.P.C

Great Movers General Transport L.L.C – S.P.C is a licensed transport and truck rental company in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The company was established in 2020 and is registered under License No. CN-3716835. Our office is at Musaffah M-13, As Sawari 1 Street, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

We provide light and heavy transport, pickup truck rental, specialist truck services and flatbed trailer transport for suitable local and long-distance jobs across the UAE.

2. Quotes and Booking Confirmation

A quote is based on the information you provide, including cargo type, approximate weight and dimensions, pickup and delivery locations, date and time, truck type, manpower, loading method, number of stops, waiting time and site-access requirements.

A booking is confirmed only when Great Movers General Transport L.L.C – S.P.C expressly confirms the vehicle, route, scope, timing and price through the website, phone, WhatsApp, email, invoice or another written booking message.

If the cargo, route, stops, access, manpower, equipment or timing changes after the quote, we may revise the vehicle recommendation, price or schedule before performing the changed work.

3. Customer Information and Responsibilities

You must provide accurate and complete booking information. This includes the nature of the goods, estimated or known weight, dimensions of large items, pickup and delivery access, required permits, loading conditions and any special handling needs.

You are responsible for ensuring that the cargo is lawful to transport, reasonably prepared for road movement and available at the agreed pickup time. You must disclose any item that is unusually heavy, fragile, high-value, hazardous, regulated or difficult to handle.

Where a building, warehouse, mall, port, industrial zone, airport, event venue or project site requires a gate pass, permit, loading-bay reservation or security approval, you or the site contact must arrange it unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

4. Vehicle Selection and Load Limits

Truck names such as 1 Ton, 3 Ton, 5 Ton or 10 Ton are service or vehicle-class descriptions. They do not guarantee that every available vehicle can legally carry exactly that stated weight.

The actual legal payload, axle limits, body configuration, deck or bed space and cargo position determine whether a load can be accepted. Great Movers General Transport L.L.C – S.P.C may change the assigned vehicle or refuse part or all of a load if the cargo does not fit the safe and legal load plan.

You must not add unapproved cargo after the vehicle arrives if doing so changes the agreed weight, dimensions, balance or loading plan.

5. Loading, Unloading, Manpower and Equipment

A professional driver is included with the confirmed vehicle service. Loading or unloading helpers, forklift support, tail-lift use, crane lifting, rigging or other equipment are included only when specifically stated in the quote or booking confirmation.

You must tell us in advance if stairs, long carrying distances, heavy items, restricted access, lifting points or special equipment are involved. Additional manpower, equipment or waiting may result in extra charges if agreed before or during the job.

Great Movers General Transport L.L.C – S.P.C may stop or refuse loading where the cargo, site, lifting method or customer instruction appears unsafe, unlawful or outside the confirmed service scope.

6. Prohibited, Restricted and Special Cargo

Do not tender illegal or prohibited goods for transport. Hazardous, flammable, explosive, corrosive, toxic, regulated, temperature-sensitive, live, unusually valuable or otherwise special cargo must be disclosed before booking and may be refused unless the transport is expressly agreed and all legal requirements are met.

We may ask for additional documents, permits, packing, equipment or specialist transport before accepting restricted or special cargo.

7. Pricing, Extra Charges and Payment

Prices apply to the scope stated in the confirmed quote or booking. Additional stops, waiting time, changed routes, extra manpower, lifting equipment, access delays, permits, parking, tolls or other agreed requirements may change the final price.

Payment timing and method will be stated in the quote, invoice or booking confirmation. Applicable taxes or government charges, if any, will be handled as required by law and the confirmed commercial terms.

If payment is overdue, Great Movers General Transport L.L.C – S.P.C may suspend future services or take lawful steps to recover amounts properly due.

8. Cancellations, Rescheduling and No-Show Situations

Please tell us as early as possible if you need to cancel or change a booking. Any cancellation or rescheduling charge will follow the terms stated in your quote or booking confirmation.

Where no specific cancellation amount was stated, Great Movers General Transport L.L.C – S.P.C may seek reasonable costs already incurred or committed because of a late cancellation, including dispatched vehicle time, third-party equipment, permits or confirmed manpower, to the extent permitted by law.

If the vehicle reaches the agreed location and the cargo, customer, access approval or loading team is not ready, reasonable waiting or call-out costs may apply if communicated and agreed as part of the service.

9. Delays and Events Outside Our Control

Pickup and delivery times are estimates unless Great Movers General Transport L.L.C – S.P.C expressly agrees to a fixed time in writing. Traffic, road closures, weather, accidents, government controls, security procedures, site queues, port or airport rules, mechanical issues and other events outside reasonable control can cause delays.

We will use reasonable efforts to communicate material delays and complete the service, but we are not responsible for delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, subject to applicable law.

10. Packing, Condition of Goods and Cargo Claims

Customers should pack fragile, loose, polished, glass, electronic and other damage-sensitive goods appropriately for road transport unless packing is included in the confirmed service.

At pickup, tell the driver or coordinator about existing damage or unusual handling requirements. At delivery, inspect the cargo where reasonably possible and report any suspected loss or damage as soon as reasonably possible with photos, item details and the booking reference.

Any claim will be reviewed against the confirmed service scope, cargo condition, available evidence and applicable law.

11. Liability and Insurance

Great Movers General Transport L.L.C – S.P.C is responsible for performing confirmed services with reasonable care and in accordance with applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

To the extent permitted by law, Great Movers General Transport L.L.C – S.P.C will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable from the confirmed service, including loss of profit, loss of business opportunity or similar economic loss.

Do not assume that cargo insurance is included unless insurance is specifically stated in the quote or booking confirmation. If insurance is important for your cargo, ask us to confirm the available arrangement in writing before booking.

12. Third-Party Services

A job may involve third-party facilities or services such as building management, ports, malls, forklifts, cranes, loading teams, payment providers, communication tools or other service partners. Their own terms, access rules or fees may apply where relevant.

Great Movers General Transport L.L.C – S.P.C is not responsible for the independent acts or omissions of third parties that are outside our reasonable control, subject to applicable law.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the United Arab Emirates. Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, disputes relating to these Terms or Great Movers General Transport L.L.C – S.P.C services will be subject to the competent courts of Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Before starting formal proceedings, the parties are encouraged to contact each other and try to resolve the issue in good faith.

18. Severability and Entire Agreement

If a provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

The confirmed quote, invoice, booking confirmation and any written service-specific terms form part of the agreement for that booking. If a specific written booking term conflicts with these general Terms, the specific booking term will apply to that service to the extent permitted by law.
